Accommodation Rules

A few rules for a perfect holiday

Dear guests,

We want you to have an unforgettable experience at the Razelm Luxury Resort, so we have set a number of principles and rules which we kindly ask you to observe during your stay and after.


You may book directly on the website or by calling one of the following numbers: +40 741 880 080 or +40 340 401 000.

Bookings must be guaranteed by a card that is valid on the date of the booking or by an advance payment. In case of no-show, the hotel reserves the right to charge the amount corresponding to the first night and to free the room for the remaining period booked.



Cancellation requests must be made in writing and set to the e-mail address at least 24 hours before the check-in.

Payments in advance are non-refundable and can only be compensated with a future stay in exceptional circumstances. Any situation is checked in advance with the reception.



The Razelm Luxury Resort rates vary with the type of room you choose, the occupancy, the day and the season, and with the number of persons in each room (more details on the booking page).


Check-in & Check-out

Check-in time starts at 15:00. You must check out of your room by 12:00.

If on the first day of your stay you want to have your room available before 15:00, early check-in may be possible, depending on hotel occupancy, for a fee.

If on the last day of your stay you want to leave the room after 12:00, late check-out is possible depending on hotel occupancy, without charge until 14:00, and for 50% of rate for one night after 14:00. For requests of late check-out after 18:00, you will be charged the rate for the entire night.

These requests will be clarified and accepted only if the hotel doesn’t already have booking confirmations for those rooms.

Guests who leave the room before 12:00 may leave their luggage at the reception desk, in a dedicated area, free of charge.



All children are welcome, regardless of age. Children between 3-11 years old may stay at the hotel free of charge if the existing beds are used, and only the  25 euro/day fee will be paid for the additional breakfast.

For children between 0-2 years of age, the hotel may make available cribs, free of charge, depending on occupancy.

Please let us know when you book your room if you require a crib, to be able to provide one as available.

Starting from 12 years of age, children are considered adults as far as the hotel charging policy goes. A fee of 15 euro/night will be charged if they use extra beds, plus the 25 euro/day for the additional breakfast.

The maximum capacity for extra beds in a room is 1.

The types of rooms where extra beds or cribs can be added are the Standard, Deluxe and Premium rooms, the suits and the bungalows.

Please let us know when you book your room if you require an extra bed for your child, to be able to provide one as available.



For special needs during your stay, you may use the signalling on the tables in the rooms:

  • Turning on the DND (do not disturb) button – with your permission, the rooms will be accessed to check the utilities and for housekeeping during the interval 7:00 – 15:00 or at the time requested by you at the reception desk. If the button is on, the technical and cleaning staff’s key cards will not work, so their access to your room will be restricted;
  • Turning on the Make my room button – this message is used to request the cleaning of your room.



You may receive visitors in your room, at no additional charge, between 08:00 and 22:00, but they must register at the reception desk by filling in the visitor card.


Dress Code

Razelm Luxury Resort does not have a special dress code, but we recommend a practice of common sense and decency towards other guests and resort personnel.

Persons wearing bathrobes, swimming suits, undershirts, shorts or flip flops will not be allowed in the restaurant and hotel reception.

Access to the pool area is allowed only in swim suits, clean flip flops, towels, bathrobes.

Access in the pool is prohibited to persons suffering from skin or infectious diseases and to minors under 14 who are not accompanied or supervised.



You may pay for the services provided by the Razelm Luxury Resort by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express), cash (RON) or bank transfer.

In the last case, please bring the payment order endorsed by the bank when you check-in.

Your card is charged or pre-authorised at check-in time.

If you want to pay at the end of your stay, a card or cash deposit must be created for the period and for the accommodation services requested.

For bank transfers, payments must be made in advance based on the proforma.


Disputes and complaints

We reserve the right to charge our guests’ cards, regardless of their wishes, at least in the following cases:

  • they have left the hotel premises without paying for the services provided by the Razelm Luxury Resort;
  • they have caused damage;
  • they have taken objects that don’t belong to them and for which they did not pay at the reception desk;
  • they have not cancelled their booking within the deadline;
  • they have smoked in the hotel or in the rooms, although smoking is prohibited;

We will try to settle amicably any disagreement, dispute or complaint that may arise from the application of these terms and conditions. If this is not possible, any such disagreement, dispute or complaint shall be heard by the competent court in Tulcea.


Smoking indoors

At the  Razelm Luxury Resort, traditional smoking is not allowed in the rooms, according to the applicable law in force (Law 349/2002 as amended and supplemented by Law 15/2016). Razelm Luxury Resort has smoking areas available outdoors.

Razelm Luxury Resort only offers non-smoking rooms. In case of non-compliance with these regulations, an additional charge of  200 euro will apply.



As a rule of thumb, accommodation is not available to persons accompanied by animals or birds.


Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Breakfast is served buffet style at the Argead Restaurant, Monday to Thursday between 07:00 – 10:00, and Friday to Sunday between 07:00 – 10:30.

You may invite anyone to have breakfast with you, but each person invited must pay for breakfast, i.e. 25 euro/person, and must observe the the rules of conduct and wear decent attire.

You may have lunch and/or dinner in a relaxing atmosphere at the Argead Restaurant, on the ground floor of the hotel, and at the Argead and Alexander terraces, open daily between 12:00 – 23:00.

If you want to enjoy coffee or a cocktail, you may also opt for the indoor or outdoor bar area.

For meals with a set menu (events etc.), reservations are confirmed and guaranteed after an advance payment, which is forfeited in case of no-show.


Swimming pool rules

Access with food or beverages is prohibited.

Access is prohibited to persons under the influence of alcohol, who look unkempt or have dirty clothing.

Access  in the pool is prohibited to people with wounds, eczema, dermatitis or transmissible diseases.

Customers must use towels when using the loungers.

Access into the pool is allowed after showering.

Access into the pool is allowed with a bathing suit.

Access with pets is prohibited.

We are not liable for any lost or forgotten personal items.

Diving into the water, running and carelessly playing on the side of the pool are not allowed. Pushing others is the water is prohibited. We are not liable for any accidents or health conditions  caused by the above.

Children under 10 years old may access the pool or the playground only if they are supervised by the parents. We are not liable for any accidents.

Please be respectful to the staff and don’t damage any property.


Room Service

Room service is available upon request between 07:00 – 00:00.


The parking lot

Razelm Luxury Resort makes available to its customers 200 parking spaces, depending on occupancy.

Although we take every precaution, we are not liable for any theft or damage occurring on our property. To avoid any such inconvenience, please don’t leave valuables inside the vehicles.


The safety of personal items

Razelm Luxury Resort has approved electronic systems used for monitoring access to the rooms and opening the safes.

We recommend using the safes available in the room to store your valuables. We are not liable for any items forgotten, lost or allegedly stolen on the premises of the Razelm Luxury Resort.


Alcoholic beverages

Bringing and drinking outside alcoholic beverages on the premises of the Razelm Luxury Resort is prohibited, as is storing such beverages in the minibar, without management consent.

The restaurant reserves the right to stop serving people who are inebriated or disorderly.


Services offered

Razelm Luxury Resort guests are offered preferential free and paid services. For paid services, additional information may be obtained at the reception desk.


Fire protection

The safety of our guests is of paramount importance, which is why we have taken every fire safety and protection measure.

The doors to the rooms and to the escape routes are fire resistant and offer 30 minutes fire protection. Smoke detectors are available in the rooms, as are the evacuation plan and hydrants and high-capacity fire extinguishers in the hotel hallways.

The fire alarm system is automatic and connected directly to the hotel reception and to the security and intervention company. Our attention to detail has also extended to the escape routes within the hotel, which are marked with lights powered permanently by our own energy supply.



We are committed to provide the best conditions to disabled persons, therefore most hotel areas are accessible to them.

If you need special assistance of any kind, please let us know in advance so we can provide the most enjoyable stay.


Environmental Protection Policy

Environmental protection is a constant concern for us, which is why we promote environmental awareness.

The detergent used to wash and disinfect the bed linen, towels, table cloths and bathrobes are biodegradable, and saving them results in better environmental conservation.

Bed linen is changed two days after check-in or upon request, and towels are changed daily. To signal that you want your linen or towels changed, please leave them on the floor or in the bathtub.


Turning down unwanted customers

Customers must observe hotel rules. Therefore, they must keep quiet in the hotel, the restaurant, the facilities, and observe the social and moral  norms of coexistence.

Moreover, the customers of Razelm Luxury Resort must look after the property entrusted to them during their stay.

Any breach of hotel rules or moral and social norms of coexistence give the hotel the right to immediately terminate the contract and stop providing accommodation.

We reserve the right to refuse to accommodate, to serve in the restaurant, and to grant access on our premises to customers who are inebriated, rude or disorderly, and whose behaviour affects the hotel image or disturbs other customers. Any destruction of or damage to the physical assets of Razelm Luxury Resort will be covered by those at fault for any such damage or destruction.

In view of the above, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.


Structural Integrity

For Razelm Luxury Resort, the structural safety and the building’s supporting structure are vital, as the building’s stability, strength and durability depend on them. Therefore, combining architecture and structural engineering, the building was designed to be completely safe under any circumstances.

The properties of the land selected for the foundation determines the load bearing capacity of the land and represents the maximum pressure that the land can handle without damage to the foundation. As for the walls, they bear the weight of the building and transfer it to the foundation, providing thermal and acoustic insulation and lateral resistance to wind or earthquakes.


Final Clauses

When consider that, when accessing any service provided by Razelm Luxury Resort (accommodation, restaurant, events), all customers are aware of the above Terms & Conditions and have tacitly accepted them.


Variation of Terms & Conditions

The Terms & Conditions may be varied at any time by Razelm Luxury Resort without any prior notice.
